Cellucor IsoPro. What Is It and Why is it Better?

The best selling Pre Workout in the history of all Pre-Workout's. This is the brand Cellucor and the product is now called The Original C4. Over the years, they have evolved this line to make special C4s just for you including Extreme Energy, Ripped, and Ultimate. This is not all they sell and in fact, they have one of the most delishous proteins on the market along with so many other products.

This week, they just announce a brand new protein called IsoPro Grass Fed Native Whey Protein Isolate. Thats just a lot of words...what is it?

Before we get into what it is, we need to understand Whey Protein. This protein actually comes from the cheese making process and was found by accident many years ago. Whey is a very dense protein that is very low in fat and carbs. The initial whey protein is called “Whey Protein Concentrate.” This type of whey has some fat, lactose, and some carbs. To make it even leaner, you can filter it and make “Whey Protein Isolate.” Whey Isolate usually has less than 3g of carbs, little to no lactose, and close to 0 fat. There really isnt a reason to filter Isolate protein any more but Cellucor did not want to listen to that...and now we have IsoPro.

IsoPro uses a patented process called PRONATIV® that will strip this grass fed whey protein of any impurities. This makes the protein leaner, cleaner, and more bioavailable. For those who didn't take biology, that means your body can absorb it better.

Native Whey is a brand new category to the market but it is widely considered as the best protein for building muscle. This means that it comes at a cost but with Cellucor being a massive company, they are able to get it to us at a great cost.

It looks like the protein will cost $40 for 24 servings costing around $1.60 per serving. For those who want the best, I get it but I do not know if its 100% worth it. I would suggest trying it for a month or two and see if you notice the difference.

I would look for recovery time, enjoyment of the shake, any stomach issues gone, and limited bloating to see if its worth it.
