Best Apparel to Hide your "Weak Parts"

When you are in the gym, its imperative to get your best workout possible and recover so that you can build muscle and keep coming back. Its also just as important to look your best in the gym. I mean, does it count as lifting if no one is staring at you, checking out your gains?

Looking your best in the gym

Now not everyone is genetically blessed where all their body parts are looking great at all times. Some have small shoulders, smaller arms, chest, I mean you get what I am saying. Now here is where my apparel degree comes into play. This article will tell you exactly what to wear so that you hide your "weak spots."

Calves

Starting off with the hardest muscles to build, lets dive into how to hide your chicken legs...or calves. These guys are doomed from the very beginning - you either have good genetics or bad ones when it comes to calve size.

The trick has nothing to do with your legs, but in fact your kicks. The move is to wear high tops. Great high top sneakers cover the smallest part of the calve and attracts attention away from them. Jordan1's, any bball sneak or converse can do the trick.

Chest

This muscle group is a big one...literally. The pecs or what I like to call "the chesticles," are very difficult to build. Some people can build a house on their upper body while some of us just keep getting more and more ripped. The trick to hiding this muscle group comes from the designers of the "baseball tee." You know what I am talking about, they look like this:

How to Look Better in the Gym

These diagonal sleeves are found on one of the most iconic workout tee, the Under Armour Tech Sleeve shirt. The reason why these sleeves were made for baseball players, was because they give your body more range of motion (think swinging a bat). Most companies do not use this sleeve type because it cost more money to produce.

Now, how does it help make my chest look bigger?? I know - okay so because the sleeves seam goes under your arm and is on a diagonal, it accentuates or brings out the chest making it look bigger.

Arms

Have trouble building arms or don't think your arms are big enough to let the guns out? This one is super easy...wear sleeves!

Hiding small arms in the gym

But seriously, nothing wrong with rocking long sleeves in the gym. It will heat the body up to burn more calories and make you look badass.

Shoulders

Got issues building boulders on your shoulders, we got a tip that every college kid is already a pro at...cut offs. These are perfect because you decide where the tank starts. The less sleeve you cut off, the more your shoulders are covered up. This allows your arms to POP and keeps attention away from those baby shoulders.

To Sum It All Up:

Just know that nobody is perfect. Even the best bodybuilders out there have insecurities of their body. Steve Cook who has crafted his body over the years constantly references his "weak back." Yea Steve, Ill take your weak back any day!
